Commitment to Quality and the Environment:
| In the spring of 1997 BTI made the commitment to implement a formal Quality Assurance System and in November, 1998 the Thornbury, Canada facility was certified to ISO 9001:1994.
In 2000, the International Standards Organization (ISO) revised the Standard to emphasize requirements for a sound Quality Management System rather than a Quality Assurance System.

BTI's Thornbury manufacturing and warehouse facilities made the transition to ISO 9001:2000 in June of 2001, and to ISO 9001:2008 in November of 2010.
To compliment our commitment to quality and to our customers, in December of 2010, BTI made a further commitment to both our local community and the environment by registering its Thornbury manufacturing and warehouse facilities to ISO 14001:2004. The ISO 14001 Environmental Management System supports BTI’s longer term vision of reducing its impact on the environment.
